Amoreiras Garden

Amoreiras Garden, located on Rua Sousa Pinto, in Amoreiras, Lisbon, is a building situated in an area of 1500m², reduced to 770m² from floor 0, with an approximately rectangular plan and curved main façades. It has three underground floors for parking and eight floors aboveground for apartments, the top one featuring recreational areas and swimming pools. The adopted structural solution was reinforced concrete, consisting of solid mushroom slabs in general and a 50cm thick lightweight slab under landscaped outdoor spaces on the groundfloor. The slabs are supported by framed systems of columns and post-tensioned beams on the façades, with columns and two elevator and stair cores inside. The foundation system is direct, with a general slab footing and inverted capitals.
