OpenBIM DAY’24

A2P was present at openBIM DAY’24, an event dedicated to BIM in Portugal. In addition to being an important technological tool, the multidisciplinary nature of BIM makes it easier and improves teamwork, with knowledge sharing being the key to the evolution of our sector:

• OpenBIM promotes the freedom to choose work platforms, standardizing project elements and making them easier to interpret.

• The exchange of experiences in the use of BIM allows us to learn from the successes and mistakes of other parts of the world: each project and BIM application is an opportunity to improve processes, adjust methodologies, and adapt solutions to specific contexts.

• By breaking down communication barriers and isolation between professionals and organizations, BIM creates an environment where collaboration is key to smarter and more effective solutions.

• Each person’s contribution is important, especially in a context where not everyone has the time or resources to stay updated in multidisciplinary environments.
