Pedestrian Crossing in Azambuja

New construction

Project Description

The 5 walkways of Sonae’s depot establish the connection between the main entrance and various warehouses, with sections ranging from 38m to 107m in length. The decks were designed with a mixed steel-concrete structure, consisting of double trusses with typical spans of 25m, a height of 4.3m, and a width of 2.2m. The floors are made of composite slabs with lost metal formwork. The distinctive design of the reinforced concrete pillars and the need to accommodate specific technical details led to their prefabrication, featuring sections of 1.2m x 0.60m, with a crossbeam at the top to support the deck. The transparency and lightness of the structure required a particular connection between the deck and the pillar, incorporating an anti-lifting system due to wind action. The characteristics of the terrain necessitated foundations through micropiles, totaling a length of 25m.
