This project consists of two viaducts on the Yellow Line of the Lisbon Metro, on the sections between Ameixoeira and Odivelas.
The first viaduct, on the Ameixoeira-Senhor Roubado section, is located over the Calçada de Carriche with a total length of 64 metres and a maximum span of 35 metres. Its execution on a road with heavy traffic led to the adoption of a solution with precast beams.
The second viaduct, on the Senhor Roubado-Odivelas section, has a total length of 822 metres and a maximum span of 46 metres. The reinforced and prestressed concrete deck, with two ribs having a height of 1.80 metres and a width of 8 metres, was built with ground-supported scafolding. The deck support is mainly achieved through piers with sliding bearings and shock absorber bearings, which are founded on piles.
